The new Unite for Quality Education Youtube channel has been updated with the video recordings shot during the two campaign launch events on Oct. 4.
The event in Paris, which brought together education unionists and partners at UNESCO, featured speakers such as UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova, UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Education Qian Tang, OECD Deputy Director for Education and Skills Andreas Schleicher, Pauline Rose of the Global Monitoring Report, and Ed Dorrell of the Times Educational Supplement, amongst others.
The event in New York united education unionists and partner representatives at UNICEF. Here, UN Special Envoys Gordon Brown and Kishore Singh, NEA President Dennis van Roekel, Alice Albright of the Global Partnership for Education and Josephine Bourne of UNICEF, amongst others, were on the speakers’ list.
